Sen Dickson invites Nigerians to join NDC as party unveils digital registration

THE National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has called on Nigerians to join the party which he described as the “viable alternative” to the ruling party.

 

Senator Dickson spoke on Monday in Abuja at the unveiling of NDC’s digital membership registration of the newly registered party.

 

“NDC’s registration is gaining traction,” Senator Dickson said. “We are only weeks old.”

 

Senator Dickson said democracy is about the people, not just the leaders. “Citizens must fund and support political movements that align with their values”. He said the NDC is the real alternative platform to salvage Nigeria’s Democracy that is endangered. He said by showing readiness to support the vision of salvaging Nigeria’s endangered Democracy. Nigerians by just offering to register with the NDC, are showing the needed support the party needs to achieve its objective of salvaging Nigeria’s Democracy.

 

In his words, “the NDC is just weeks old, ready to contest with parties that have been in existence for more than 20 years and the ruling party that has been ruling since 2015, having been formed in 2014. Senator Dickson said as Nigerians heard that the NDC is now on the scene, they have been volunteering to join the rescue mission of salvaging our democracy.

 

Senator Dickson said NDC is ready to get into all the wards to do the registration and to support and help Nigerians to register.
