Nnamdi Kanu: Also arrest Gumi, Pantami, they’re the ‘real terrorists’ – Deji Adeyanju tells FG
Activist and former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Deji Adeyanju, has called on the Nigerian government to also arrest the ‘real terrorists’ terrorizing the country.
Adeyanju made this statement via social media on Tuesday while reacting to the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
The popular social critic wrote: “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s rights must be respected at all times. The Buhari Govt should go and arrest the real terrorist terrorizing our country and their sympathizers in and out of Govt.”
Recall that Nigeria’s Minister for Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, made headlines a few months ago for allegedly having links to terrorist organizations.
He was accused of being sympathetic to terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and Boko Haram. On the other hand, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has faced severe criticisms for ‘justifying’ the activities of bandits in the north.
Kanu was captured in an African country and repatriated to Nigeria.”
