Nigeria v Uganda: Lookman, Iwobi, Nwabali missing in starting XI

Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi and Stanley Nwabali are missing in the Starting XI released by Coach Eric Chelle ahead of the final group stage match of the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Cranes of Uganda in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Chelle ringed the changes in the inconsequential match in Fez, Morocco, that is scheduled to begin at 5pm Nigeria time.
Nigeria has already secured the knockout stage ticket with six points from the available six in the first two group stage matches.
Francis Uzoho, for the first time since the tournament began, replaces Nwabali in goal, with Ryan Alebiosu also making the starting XI.
Victor Osimhen will lead the attack with support from Paul Onuachu, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.
Also on the field are Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru in the midfield, while Calvin Bassey, Igoh Ogbu, and Bruno Onyemeachi will provide cover for Uzoho.
