‘Mr Calm Down’ @ 60: Faces at Lanre Alabi’s Diamond Celebration

Lanre Alabi, the quintessential humanist and consummate bridge builder, stepped up the 60th ladder recently.

Naturally, friends rallied round to do exactly what he’s good at and what has stood him out these past years: rejoice with friends at the best of times and mourn with them at the times of grief.

Among the guests who graced the occasion at the celebrant’s Anthony Village, Ikeja home, on Boxing Day December 26, were Eze Anaba, Editor of Vanguard newspaper, Ayo Aminu, Managing Director of New Telegraph, former ACAMB presidents among many other dignitaries.
