The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Representatives candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi, has denied the rumour of stepping down for Loveth Ofoegbu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Dr Rufus-Obi said as the leading candidate for the the Federal Constituency, she could not have even contemplate stepping down for another candidate who lacks the required pedigree and necessary credential to run for such a high office.

In a statement issued by her Media Office this morning, Dr Rufus-Obi said:

The attention of Omekannaya Media Campaign Organization has been drawn to a malicious, baseless and unfounded news by some drowning group of mischief makers with their dummy candidate.

Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi, the APGA House of Representatives candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency remains the leading candidate among all the contestants and all well meaning people in the constituency have vowed to vote for her come 25th of February, 2023 elections to bring the needed transformations to her people.

Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi can never step down for a stooge and a dummy candidate of a drowning party in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi constituency whose only achievements is to fight everybody in her political party in her Local Government Area and beyond.

Just to set the record straight, there was never a time Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi contested for primaries before joining APGA because she is far ahead of her contenders.

It is only a drowning and a dummy candidate like Loveth Ofoegbu with her team of meddlesome interlopers that can be running helter skelter looking for whom to go down with.

All campaign activities stopped yesterday according to INEC election rules, but, in her pattern of media calumny and going against the INEC laid down rule, she sent her media dogs out of the cage with a pseudo name by someone whose desperate offer was rejected to be part of Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi team due to his love for money, material things and selfish interests.

It is only the fear of failure that can make one wake up in the morning with a propaganda and disjointed story on the winning numbers of Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi.
