Glo Battle of the Year 2022 ends in grand style, as 619 crew wins N9m plus N25m valued Toyota Hiace bus

The moment every one, acts, Dancers and dance lovers were waiting for reached its peak last Saturday at the Eko Hotel Lagos, as everyone emerged winners, having the best of fun, entertainment while the best adjudged dancers went home with mouth-watering prices.

David Adeleke aka Davido, Teni Makanaki and Simi thrilled revellers and alongside the dancers who proved their worth on the Glo stage, as they all shone like Diamonds when they mounted the Glo Battle of The Year stage at different stages to churn out undiluted entertainment to the ecstatic crowd, who reinforced their satisfaction with chants for more at the finale.

Guests of the Glo Battle of The Year finale were treated to an evening of rapturous dance, music, and comedy as Globacom held the Nigeria National Finals on Saturday.

Attention were however focus on the best dancers and the energy, combination, cooperation and creativity infused in the dance chemistry to  to grab the winning prices at various categories, having emerged final contestants form the earlier zonal competitions held across the country Nigeria..

Topping the list of winners is the 619 crew with a prize of N9m and a Toyota Hiace bus valued at over N25m.

For the Afro Dance segment, Israel Monday emerged the winner and smiled home with N1.5m while Angela Anthony came second with a prize of N750, 000.

In the same vein, the Popping category had Isibo David Odigie emerging winner to smile home with the sum of N1.5m while Akhigbe Richard came second and got prize money of N750,000.

For the Locking category, Michael Olanrewaju emerged winner, and the prize money of N1.5m while Odoh Emmanuel came second to get a sum of N750, 000 as prize money.

The Krump category had Charles Ekwem emerging winner to go home with N1.5m and Gifty Ephraim coming second with N750,000 prize money.

Meanwhile, the grand finale of the Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria, blasted one week after the exciting semi-final event which was enlivened by superlative performances from Olamide and PSquare, fans of Glo Battle of the Year, Nigeria as well as over 3,000 lucky subscribers will watch the culmination of the show after a 13-week run that held dance fans spellbound on national television.

The Grand finale featured performances from BGirls, BBoys, and Break Dancing crews who battled it out in front of the mammoth live audience for a chance to make history and money. At the end of the Night, the lucky winners, the 619 crew, Israel Monday, Isibo David Odigie, Akhigbe Richard, Michael Olanrewaju, Odoh Emmanuel, Charles Ekwem and Gifty Ephraim went home with mouth-watering prices in millions, with the star prize and the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the Battle of the Year competition in Japan bestowed on the 619 dance crew.
