Leading experts from across the country have commenced an Analyst Trainee Programme (ATP), a unique 6-month project that equips participants with the required skills, knowledge and exposure, as a Strategy Lab is launched in Asaba, Delta State capital.
The professional programme, which is the first to be held outside Lagos, with 12 trainees drawn from across the country, is a swift response by Africa’s leading indigenous consulting firm, Ciuci Consulting, and is taking place in the South-South to grow the emerging human resource needs in the region.
The managing partner and founder of Ciuci Consulting, Mr. Chukwuka Monye, while speaking with journalists at the new office, said some confirmed facilitators include Prof. Sylvester Monye, an expert in human resource management, Dr. Kingsley Emu, Chief Economic Adviser, Delta State, Kaziwe Kaulule, CEO, Lafarge Cement Limited, and Ovie Festus Agas, former SSG, Delta State.
Also on the line up are Chukuka Chukuma (Partner at Racecourse Capital), Ore Adeyemi (Global Head, Strategic Innovations Investments – HSBC), Sam Stephens (Senior Vice President at Huntington National Bank and Former Head of Financial Controls for AIG), Uzor Okonmah, CEO, Famacare Limited).
According to Mr. Monye, “The Strategy Lab (TSL) is Ciuci’s new regional hub designed to house the brightest minds in the industry who will translate ideas to effective strategies and develop astute business solutions for both government and private organisations.
“The Strategy Lab is intentionally located to support activities and clients in the South – South and South East regions. At Ciuci Consulting, people matter, and no nation attains sustainable growth without developing its human capital.”
He further said, “As part of our commitment to developing world class talents, we have over the past 13 years run an in-house capacity building program for entry- level analysts – the Analyst Training Program (ATP). ATP is a 6-month program that equips participants with the required skills, knowledge, and exposure to become exceptional analysts.
“The reviews from past sets is testament of the success of the program. Having a pharmaceutical background, I never expected that I would be passionate about consulting, but the ATP opened my mind to so many possibilities.
“I cannot be more passionate about making an impact in Nigeria by contributing to the growth of businesses in my own little way (ATP set, 2019). Through this program, I have been able to develop business strategies, contribute to the growth of companies with measurable impact- the experience is mind-blowing.
“This current ATP is the first to be held outside of Lagos and the choice of Asaba is premised on CIUCCI’s commitment to contribute to the development of human capital in Delta State.”
He noted that this is the professional program of this kind would be held in the South-South region, adding that the 12 participants drawn from different parts of the country went through a highly selective and rigorous program, and emerged from about 5000 applications that were received.
“The selected candidates are graduates of both public and private universities with diverse educational background in the STEM, Arts and Business Management. The training will incorporate physical and virtual learning, tutorials, practicals, field trips, examinations, and an in-depth study of business cases.
“This year’s program promises to be a reinventing experience. Renowned subject matter experts who are doing amazing things globally and locally will be facilitating this training,” added Mr. Monye..
Monye said, “The trainers will be teaching diverse topics ranging from innovation and entrepreneurship to micro and macroeconomics and everything in-between.
