I was living off campus and rented a room-apartment next to a pregnant lady’s. I often heard the lady saying things like, “Good morning David, be a good boy today and always! You are going to be a successful medical doctor. You must study hard, but remember to study your Bible regularly and….” At first l thought she had a teenage boy with her, but l had not seen anybody living with her since l became her neighbour. We often exchanged greetings whenever we met at the house verandah. Weeks later, l met her as she was about to go out. After exchanging the usual pleasantries, l asked how David was doing and added that l was yet to meet him. The lady smiled broadly, and pointed to her stomach. Then she said, “David is still busy kicking me like a ball.”
