CBN introduced naira redesign to scuttle Tinubu’s chances of becoming President – Garba 

Adamu Garba, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, has once again accused the Central Bank of Nigeria of using the new naira notes to stop Bola Tinubu from becoming the next president of Nigeria.

 

There has been tension and untold hardship in Nigeria following the new CBN policy banning the use of old N200, N500 and N1000 notes.

 

Adamu, however, believes that the plot was to deny Tinubu the chance of succeeding Buhari in the next election.

 

He tweeted, “No matter how you want to see it, this CBN Naira Redesign introduced within election period is a plot to stop Bola Ahmed Tinubu from becoming the President of Nigeria. How else can you explain this provocative action within this period? How?

 

“By Allah, this plot too shall fail!”
