Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, is dead.
He died this Sunday morning, September 19, 2021, after a protracted illness.
Dr. Mailafiya, who later became a frontline government critic, lately had running battles with state security agents following his claims of plot by the Muhammdu Buhari administration to Islamise Nigeria.
