The former senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the loss of the Super Eagles on Sunday night.

The game ended 1 goal to nil in favour of the Tunisian side. However, the Super Eagles did their best after Iwobi got a red card.

The outspoken senator took to his microblogging site to say, “He touched the pigeon and it refused to fly, he talk to the Eagles, it refuses to fly.”

Shehu statement may be pointing to President Muhammadu Buhari after he made a video call to the Super Eagles. It was gathered that President Buhari made a video call with the Super Eagles before the game with Tunisia.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria ended their Nations Cup dream to Tunisia after conceiving an early second-half goal.
