A chieftain and aspirant for the Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Irepodun/Isin Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Chief Gbenle Adeyemi, has officially declared his intention to contest, kicking off his campaign with a well-attended event in Kwara South.
The declaration attracted political heavyweights, community leaders, and supporters from across the constituency, underscoring what observers described as a strong and promising start to his ambition.
Among dignitaries present were respected traditional and political figures, including community leaders such as Chief Ezekiel Gbadeyan, Chief Ezekiel Adebayo Igi, Architect Tunji Apodele, Hon. OTJ, and Chief Samuel Adaramola, alongside other prominent stakeholders in the region.
Speakers at the event commended Adeyemi’s courage and readiness to serve, highlighting his leadership qualities, grassroots connection, and commitment to community development. They described him as a capable and experienced candidate, well-suited to represent the constituency.

Chief Adeyemi is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
