Abia 2023: Ngozi Johnson-Ogbuneke joins other Guber candidates to sign Peace Accord
Ahead of the Abia state 2023 gubernatorial election, Apostle Dr Ngozika Gladys Johnson-Ogbuneke who’s the standard candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) joined her opponents from the other parties to sign a Peace Accord.
During every election year, all gubernatorial candidates are called to sign Peace Accord which is aimed at ensuring that there is peace and stability in the polity during and after the election.
The phenomenal Medical Doctor in her noted that she has always sued for peace at all times and appending her signature to the Peace Accord was a great pleasure.
She called on the gubernatorial candidates of other political parties in Abia to not only sign but make sure they act in accordance with what has been signed by eschewing every form of violence during and after the election.
Other candidates who were there at the Peace Accord signing were the PDP candidate, Uche Ikonne; Labour Party’s Alex Otti; Young Progressive Party’s Enyinnaya Nwafor among others.
Come 11th March, 2023, Apostle Dr Ngozika Gladys Johnson-Ogbuneke will be on the ballot as she is optimistic about sweeping the highest number of votes as she becomes the next Governor of Abia state.
