First daughter of Anambra State Governor, Adaora Soludo has been appointed Women’s Leader of President Bola Tinubu’s famous political support group, the City Boys Movement.
A top aide of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, confirmed the appointment yesterday evening, Thursday, February 26, 2026, reports News Express.
The source said: “Anambra State Media Director of City Boys Movement has confirmed this. It is now authentic.”
This is coming few days after the leader of the movement in the state, Mr Obinna Iyiegbu, aka, Obi Cubana, led other members of the City Boys executive on a visit to Governor Soludo at the Light House, Awka.
However, critics have raised concerns over political family influence, questioning whether her emergence reflects internal democratic processes within the movement or the growing visibility of political dynasties in Nigeria’s evolving landscape.
As of press time, there has been no official statement from Governor Soludo’s office regarding her appointment.
The City Boys Movement has, in recent years, positioned itself as a key mobilising structure within the broader pro-Tinubu political ecosystem, particularly among urban youth demographics.
