Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization President, Mohammad Eslami, has declared that the country’s nuclear activities will continue unabated, despite recent airstrikes on its facilities by the United States and Israel.

In a statement to state-run IRIB news agency, Eslami emphasized that Iran had made necessary arrangements and preparations to prevent any interruption in its nuclear production and services.

The airstrikes targeted key nuclear sites, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, aiming to impede Iran’s progress toward nuclear weapons capability. However, Eslami asserted that these attacks would not halt Iran’s nuclear ambitions. He pointed out that the country had anticipated such actions and had measures in place to swiftly resume nuclear activities.

The international community remains divided on Iran’s nuclear program. While Iran maintains that its nuclear pursuits are for peaceful purposes, many Western nations express concerns over the potential for weaponization. The recent escalation has further strained relations and raised questions about the effectiveness of diplomatic efforts to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

In response to the airstrikes, Iran has indicated its willingness to engage in negotiations, provided that its rights to peaceful nuclear technology are recognized. However, the United States and its allies have emphasized the need for Iran to comply with international agreements and to demonstrate transparency in its nuclear activities.
