Chair of Old students association of Osogbo Grammar School, Afolabi presents N600,000 cheque to alma mater
The Osogbo Grammar School Alumni Association 1989 set led by their chairman, Comrade Moshood Abiodun Afolabi who also doubled as the Chief Registrar, College of Health Technology Ilesa has presented a cheque of N600,000 to the school for students scholarship.
During the brief and memorable event, Comrade Abiodun emphasized the need to give back to the society especially the root of their educational carrier. He stressed further that the Scholarship is basically to pay for 15 students of the school this year West Africa Examination Council (WAEC.) as some students may not be able to pay for their WAEC.
Comrade Abiodun usey the occasion to call on all the alumni of the school to always have the spirit of giving back not only to the school but society at large and see it as service to humanity.
The School Principal Mrs F. C. Olatunji who received the delegation thanked them immensely for their kind gesture toward the students and the school. She also used the occasion to prayed for all the delegations and members of ’89 set of the school.
Among the delegations were the newly elected chairman of the alumni, Comrade Abiodun, Mr Adewale Adebayo, Mr Dada Olusegun Oyewole and Mrs Olaore Funmilayo.
