A 23-year-old man, simply identified as Success, has stabbed his biological father to death in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Details as to what led to Success stabbing his father to death on Sunday, 12th January 2025 is still sketchy at the time of this report, according to Nigerian Tribune.
It was learnt that the father sustained serious injuries as a result of the stabbing.
He was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment, but later died on Monday, 13th January 2025 in the hospital.
The police promptly arrested the suspect and he is currently in the cell.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident to journalists.
“The incident occurred yesterday (Sunday) but the father died today. Success is in custody,” he said.
