The former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has given tangible reasons why he has grounded his Private Jets for a short time.
The international business mogul, Kalu, made this known to journalists on Friday, 20th September, 2024, which was published on his official Facebook page.
Kalu said since the 2nd of August, 2024 he hasn’t used his private and he has decided to let it be that way, for him to sort out some differentials of workers salaries both in Nigeria and West Africa.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Privatization, Kalu, also noted that his private jets have been put into good by lending them out to other businesses like oil companies and the rest.
The former Chief Whip of 9th Senate, Kalu, further explained that there are commercial planes which he will make use of, to the glory of God.
“Thank you very much. Honestly, I have stopped using my private jet since the second of August, 2024 and I want to maintain that until we are able to sort out the differential of the workers salaries in Nigeria and in West Africa, because of buying fuel and all the rest of them. I don’t need to explain to you my dear, but for now, I have grounded the private jet to do some other business for oil companies and I want to maintain it that way. There are commercial planes that are on schedule and I will use them to the glory of God,” Kalu said.
