Most children in particular hate to drink or swallow bitter medicine for any illness. If the child is aware that the other option to get healed and be free from such sicknesses and diseases is the use of injections,or else his death will come, hardly would you find a child choosing injections or death as choice. A little baby who wants to touch the fascinating flame of a naked fire is quickly disciplined by slapping his hand away from the fire in his first attempt.
The sound of his cry or the marks of his tears on his face cannot be compared with the permanent scars of his charred fingers.Discipline should follow a clear evidence of a child’s wrong doing, not mere assumption. The discipline must be commensurate with the offence , and should also be followed by lovely sessions of godly counselling. Failure of a child to yield to correction should be carefully investigated by a teacher whom the child loves, or by an elderly person who is fond of the child and whom the child loves.There is a great advantage in such investigations.For some reasons not all children will fuly open up to their parents.
The children should be constantly warned about the prevalence of vehicular accidents, kidnapping and other dangers that await truants and latecomers from home or from school.Above all, children should be well instructed in the word of God.The future, good or bad, of any nation depends on the children who are in your hands today.
