2023 Presidency: Peter Obi will likely win because God will fight for him – Wike
The governor of Rivers State has stated that the winner and hero of the presidential election is Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, adding that he is speaking the truth and is not saying it to appease anyone.
Wike said that although the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recognized Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner of the presidential election, he believed that Peter Obi had won the poll legitimately.
According to Wike: “Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, may not be declared the winner and the President of Nigeria, but he is the election’s hero. He added that Peter Obi will likely win because God will fight for him.
“First, it was because of the belief that the presidency should go to the Southeast. Secondly, some people wanted a younger person.”
The Rivers State Governor made this claim in a video that was posted on the microblogging site Twitter while commissioning a project in the state. He said that Peter Obi had won the February polls whether people liked it or not.
