Nigeria Decides: Peter Obi’s Labour Party opens up lead in Delta State, wins 7 of 10 LGAs
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has opened up a massive lead in the presidential election results so far declared from Delta State.
According to the results of 10 local government areas so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Labour Party is leading in seven.
The remaining three were won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) while the All Progressives Congress occupies a distant third position.
The LGAs declared in favour of Labour Party are: Ika South, Aniocha North, Ethiope West, Oshimili North, Ndokwa West, Aniocha South and Ethiope East.
The PDP has Ika North East, Bomadi and Warri North.
The PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa is from Delta and is the incumbent Governor, Naija News reports.
