Abia Guber: Dr Johnson-Ogbuneke reiterates vision to rescue state, asks voters to reject financial inducement

The Abia State governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Dr Ngozika Johnson-Ogbuneke has reiterated her avowed dream of rescuing the state from the plague of misgovernance.

 

She noted that the 2023 electioneering period presents a most auspicious time to counter the negative narrative of the old breed politicians who have wrecked the state these past years.

 

According to her, Abians must rise as a formidable force to counter and reject the financial and material inducement of failed politicians who come every election season to hoodwink the people.

 

“The season has come when the same people that lied to us years ago will come to us again with the same lies accompanied with paltry sums of money and few cups of rice just to buy our vote.

 

“The promises they made to us eight years ago, they have not fulfilled but they want us to vote them into power again,” she stated.

 

She therefore called on the people of Abia to arise and protect their collective interests, stressing the importance of voting in credible and accountable person into the Abia State Government House for “our future and that of our children.”

 

“Dear Abians, I have the divine mandate to liberate us from the strong hold of poverty and suffering. Therefore, be confident to vote me into power because I have our collective interest at heart.

 

“As a true and industrious daughter of Abia state, I am ready to restore our dear state to it glory, Dr Johnson-Ogbuneke stated.

 

Quoting from the Holy Scriptures: “When the righteous is in power, the people rejoice,” she called on Abians not to forget that God sent Moses to liberate the children of Israel and that that same God has given her the divine mandate to liberate Abia state.

 

“Let us all arise and protect our collective interests by voting Dr Ngozika Gladys Johnson-Ogbuneke into power come 2023. I promise to deliver on my mandate,” she stated.
