Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a massive €100 million bid to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the upcoming summer transfer window as Los Blancos look to reinforce their attack.
According to reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Spanish giants are keen to recruit a world-class striker who can lead the line long term, with Osimhen identified as a prime target. Galatasaray are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of €100 million for the forward, reports BusinessDay.
Fichajes claims Real Madrid are planning a restructuring of their attacking setup, with the intention of deploying Kylian Mbappé in his preferred role, supported by a traditional central striker.
Madrid are said to have initiated preliminary steps toward the transfer, while also considering potential player departures to maintain financial balance.
Osimhen has been in outstanding form this season, registering 19 goals and seven assists in 29 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray. His pace, physicality, and clinical finishing have made him one of the most sought-after forwards in European football.
With 26 goal contributions already this season, Osimhen has proven he is ready for the “Galactico” stage. If the deal goes through, he would become the most expensive Nigerian footballer in history, joining an elite lineage of world-class strikers to wear the famous white shirt.
