Tension as Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ vehicle berths at INEC headquarters, ignites fresh political storm

A Nigerian man has triggered mixed reactions online after alleging that campaign branding Renewed Hope linked to President Bola Tinubu was seen inside an office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State.
In a video shared on social media, the man questioned the neutrality of the electoral body after claiming he spotted a vehicle bearing the ‘Renewed Hope’ slogan associated with the President, parked within the premises, reports Gwg.com.
He expressed concern that, in his view, there was no visible presence of materials or branding from other political parties in the same location.
This is inside INEC in Rivers state and I’m seeing Renewed Hope. That is Renewed Hope motor parked inside INEC o. ADC own no dey, PDP own no dey, only Tinubu own dey parked inside INEC. What is it telling you?” he said.
The video has since generated debate online, with some Nigerians questioning whether the scene could suggest bias within an institution expected to remain politically neutral.
Others, however, urged caution, calling for proper verification and context before drawing conclusions about the circumstances surrounding the footage.

@Soginshile: Does it say anything about voting for tinubu, people should learn to reason beyond what they see. Any president can do that as long as it doesn’t declare INEC supporting Tinubu. There’s no news here why the alarm? 😏
@Bobbee: Intentional or not, mixing electoral institutions with political branding always raises questions about perception and neutrality
@Victor: I wonder what people expect. The president appointed ministers. Same way he appointed inec chairman. So who is their boss. The ministers. Are political office holders. And you expect inec to be different? lol 😂
@Chima Okafor: Dem no even hide am again. Renewed Hope billboard dey inside Rivers INEC office. Same people wey give us ‘glitch of criminality’ wan claim neutral? Abeg!
@chief&queen: Na wike hand work..I wish some guys will destroy that billboard.
As of the time of this report, there has been no official response from INEC regarding the controversy.
