Popular Nigerian televangelist Chris Oyakhilome has sparked widespread reactions after making bold remarks about his personal wealth and how it should be measured.

Speaking during a recent address, the Christ Embassy founder dismissed conventional standards for evaluating riches, insisting that true wealth transcends material calculations.

“Somebody wanted to know how rich I am. There’s a level of riches that you can’t quantify with your Japanese calculator,” he said.

Oyakhilome went further, introducing a personal anecdote that added a spiritual layer to his comments.

“My daughter always says only God and Daddy are the two richest people in the world,” he stated.

The remarks have since ignited mixed reactions online. While supporters interpret his comments as a reflection of spiritual depth and divine favour, critics have questioned the tone and implications of such comparisons.

The cleric, known for his expansive global reach and prosperity teachings, has consistently emphasized faith, spiritual consciousness, and the idea of wealth beyond material possessions.
