Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday said the APC Party in Lagos State picked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu so as to redirect Lagos. He made this statement at the Commissioning of the Agege Pen-Cinema Flyover Bridge.
In his address Asiwaju Tinubu said sometime in 2017, the ship of the State was redirected because the ship was going in a wrong direction. According to him,
‘They say who is Sanwo-Olu and I said you will soon find out..Ever since Sanwo-Olu became the captain of the State , he has turned it to the right direction, both you and the cabinet have turned it around.
“Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat are building Lagos back to progress, no matter the economic turbulence. Lagos State have being into one construction or the other,” Asiwaju Tinubu said
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in his address advised Youth to give peace a chance noting, if there is no peace, there can’t be development. He said the government is doing all the can to make sure they build good schools for the future generation
In his address Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu said the project was 20 percent construction when he assumed the post of Lagos State Governor, but he made sure it was completed.He noted that the project will reduce the traffic time in the axis.
In his address Speaker Lagos State Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa said the project was proposed before he became the speaker Lagos Hose of Assembly , it was after he became the Speaker of the House of Assembly that he made sure that the project was executed.
Chairman Agege Local Government, Hon Kola Egunjobi, named Old Ipaja Road after Tinubu and Dopemu Road after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu
