Shehu Sani lauds Goodluck Jonathan, says he appointed an INEC Chairman he never knew, nor from his part of the country

Senator Shehu Sani has taken to social media to talk about the sacrifices that former President Goodluck Jonathan did while he was the president.
According to Shehu Sani, Nigerian leaders must sacrifice their personal interest, religious and ethnic interest, as well as their sectional interest for the peace and unity of the country.
Speaking through his Facebook page, Shehu Sani said that former president, Goodluck Jonathan appointed someone he never knew and never met as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
He also added that the former president approved the use of card reader despite the fact that it was risky for him and there was danger of him loosing the election.
Shehu Sani went further to say that Goodluck Jonathan also asked the leader of the opposition party to submit their nominee as INEC commissioner.
The former senator ended his post by saying that Goodluck ignored the threats from the aggrieved people from his zone and made a phone call to congratulate the winner after the elections.
