Some of the results sheets from the 2023 Presidential election, which was held on February 25th, last Saturday, in Rivers State, were reportedly discovered in a bush by local people only a few hours ago, according to a story in the Punch Newspaper.
You might find it interesting to know that on February 25, 2023, every Nigerian who is old enough to vote went to their individual polling places to cast their ballots for their favourite candidate for president.
However, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and presidential candidate for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), was declared the victor of the 2023 presidential election by INEC chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu after results from all 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, were tallied. Tinubu received the most votes to defeat the other presidential candidates who ran in the election.
Several Nigerians claimed that the 2023 Presidential election results had been altered with after the election results were announced.
Based on these observations, a woman was seen clutching an INEC form in a video posted to Punch Newspaper’s official Twitter page. She said that a student had found the form in a bush.
When speaking to a crowd, the commentator stated, “Am I supposed to be holding this form? Is this form supposed to be in my possession? Well, this form was found in a bush with our principal leading, so is it okay? Can you imagine? LP is having 99 in everything, they signed and they stamped here. You can imagine this form found in the bush. A student found this EC84 in the bush. If this one is in the bush, which one are they submitting?”
