Nigeria’s Chief Justice tests positive for Covid-19, receiving treatment in Dubai

Chief Justice of Nigeria Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad has tested positive for COVID-19 and is in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, receiving treatment.

A Justice of the country’s Supreme Court, Ibrahim Saulawa, confirmed the CJN’s status at the unveiling of the national headquarters of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) on Tuesday in the nation’s capital Abuja.

The CJN was represented by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour after he missed the swearing-in ceremony of 72 senior advocates of Nigeria (SAN) on Monday.
