Na’Abba, Agunloye, Nwosu, others lead NC Front’s merger committee


FORMER Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’Abba, a former Minister of State for Defence (Navy), Olu Agunloye, and Mr. Raph Nwosu, have been nominated to lead the merger committee of the National Consultative Front to facilitate the new mega political movement to rescue Nigeria.

The NC Front said the new platform will serve as the much-awaited credible alternative platform to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Spokesperson of the NC Front, Dr. Tanko Yunusa, said this in Abuja on Sunday. He explained that there are also plans to enlist former National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega; Prof. Pat Utomi; former Deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu and Obedia Mailafia as well as #EndSARS youth leaders as Special Advisors.

He said: “The 22-member Merger Committee, which was a product of inclusive nominations from various Stakeholders and Allies in the NC Front, has been charged with a clear mandate to help, the NC Front political coalition, negotiate and seal the formation of a credible alternative ideologically driven mega political movement for all citizens of conscience and ideological groups that share the aspiration of the NCFront to rescue Nigeria from looming anarchy.

The formal inauguration of this committee will be held on Tuesday, by 1pm.
