The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has picked up Chief Willie Obiano at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos.
The arrest happened Thursday night just hours after he lost his constitutional Immunity as he handed over power in Awka early Thursday.
Obiano was said to be headed to Houston USA when he was intercepted and now at the EFCC detention.
Today may go down for Obiano as one of his most testy days after his wife dished him public embarrassment as she engaged in fisticuffs at the inauguration of the governor that succeeded him.
