2027: I won’t dump PDP for any other party – Adeleke

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has categorically denied rumors suggesting his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, Adeleke assured the people of Osun State and Nigeria at large that he remains a loyal member and leader of the PDP in the state.
Adeleke said, “Over the last few hours, I have been inundated with calls regarding rumors of a possible defection.
“I want to assure the good people of Osun State and Nigerians at large; I remain a loyal member and the leader of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State.”
The governor emphasized his commitment to delivering good governance and fulfilling the party’s 5-point agenda for the state.
He stated, “My focus remains on delivering good governance and fulfilling our 5-point agenda for Osun people. Please disregard the fake news and continue to support our mission for a better Osun State.”
By reaffirming his loyalty to the PDP, Adeleke has put speculation about his potential defection to rest, and has instead chosen to focus on his duties as governor and his vision for the state’s future.
